Rudder 2hrs

Sanded and fit all the parts for the other side.  Test fit and glued them in place. Filled in a few gaps

Fin 1hr

Cut and sanded a few pieces.  Matched up the cap strips with the rudder.

Fin 1.5hrs

Started the same process for the fin.

Rudder 3hrs

Sanded the gussets and fit them in place.  Cut the cross members and glued everything.

Rudder 1hr

Turned paper into plywood

Rudder 2.5hrs

Marked up and cut out templates for the gusset plates. Sanded down the ends of the main beam and transferred some of the gussets on the plywood.

Rudder .5hrs

Cut more blocks to "clamp" the beams in place.

Rudder 3hrs

Ran the router on all the edges for the gusset plates.  Cut the center beam and adjusted the spacing to center all the beams so the gussets lay flush.

Rudder 1.5hrs

Cut and sanded the main beams tonight

Rudder .5 hrs

Ran the rudder beams over the router.

Fin .5hrs

Now that I had everything setup right, ran a bunch of the main beams.

Got the router setup and made a few passes on some scrap wood. Didn't get the consistency of results I would have liked,  so I built a little router "table". Works much better now.  Finally got to cut the first piece of wood tonight.
