Had one more round block to make. I ran out of screws and forgot to make enough blocks. Filed down a few screws that came through the bottom finishing up the jig.

Rib jig 2hrs
Pre drilled and drilled holes in the round blocks. Drilled through the mdf and countersunk the machine screws from the underside. Put washers on the top/ bottom sides and added the wing nuts.

Rudder jig 2hrs
I got more wood screws for the blocks, but they were tapered differently even though they are still #6 wood screws. This was causing the blocks to break. I had to drill larger holes all over again before I screwed them in. I then glued a doubler on the back of my rib jig and screwed them together ensuring it was flat. This just makes it more durable.

Rudder jig .5hrs
Cleaned up the edges on some of the blocks and screwed them in place. I ran out of screws so I installed a power strip and cleaned up some trash tonight.

Shop
Tonight I completely disassembled the scroll saw and cleaned it up. Ran a new power cable and oiled everything up. The crank case is filled with motor oil and submerges the main bearing and crankshaft.

Shop
Did a few things around the shop today. I mixed some concrete and filled in the holes where the black top has crumbled. This will keep the cold air and any animals out. I also put up foam door seals around the edge of the door to fill in the cracks. The last thing I did was pick up an old scroll saw made in the late 40s early 50s. I got it used off craigslist for pretty cheap. Everything works, just need to clean it, oil, and mount it.

Fin template 1hr
Marked off a square for the fin and drew it all in tonight. Hopefully I will be able to order some wood fairly soon and get some materials on the way.
